Exciting News: I'm Participating in Google Summer of Code 2025!
I am excited to share that I have been selected to participate in Google Summer of Code 2025! This is an incredible opportunity, and I am so grateful and excited to embark on this journey.
For those who may not know, Google Summer of Code is a global program focused on bringing more student developers into open source software development. Students work on a 12+ week programming project with an open-source organization under the guidance of mentors.
This summer, I will be working with the MDAnalysis organization and its project partner ProLIF on a project titled: “Improving ProLIF’s 2D interaction visualizations”. My project will focus on automating the placement of residues in ProLIF’s 2D LigNetwork plots, improving their clarity and readability out-of-the-box. This will help reduce visual clutter and make molecular interaction diagrams easier to interpret and use in publications. I’m looking forward to diving deep into this challenge and collaborating with the community! I’ll do my best to share updates on my progress throughout the summer, so stay tuned!
I’m incredibly eager to get started and make the most of this experience. Here’s to a productive and exciting summer ahead!
